The 1^st International Competition for Chamber Choirs “Mosbach 2012” was held from April 27^th until April 29^th 2012. On this page, you will find results, photos, and press coverage (only in German).

The winners of the competition are:

1^st prize: Chamber Choir of Detmold University of Music, conductor: Anne Kohler

2^nd prize: Mannheim Chamber Choir, conductor: Georg Grün

3^rd prize: University of Guelph Chamber Singers, conductor: Marta McCarthy

Audience Award: Chamber Choir of Detmold University of Music, conductor: Anne Kohler

We congratulate the winners!

The jury has decided on the participants of the final round. The following choirs will perform in the final (in this order):

1. University of Guelph chamber singers
2. Kammerchor der Musikhochschule Detmold
3. Mannheim Chamber choir

The final round will take place at 19:30 in the Stiftskirche Mosbach. Tickets are available for 8€/5€ (red.).

More than 150 singers have arrived at Mosbach and have been welcomed by Michael Jann, the lord mayor of Mosbach, the organizational team, and Jury member Frieder Bernius. The competition will start on Saturday, 28^th April.

The choirs will be performing in the following order:

1. Mannheim Chamber Choir
2. ClaritasVocalis
3. University of Guelph Chamber Singers
4. Kamertonas
5. Kammerchor der Hochschule für Musik Detmold
